The Bet Tzedek New Leadership Council (BTNLC) is a recently formed leadership group operating as a key component of Bet Tzedek. The mission of the council includes fundraising for the agency and educating people with regarding to its programs. In addition, it provides leadership, service, professional networking, and social opportunities for its members. The BTNLC, under the direction of its Executive Committee, oversees Bet Tzedek’s highly regarded annual Justice Ball. Membership benefits also include a formal mentorship program in which BTNLC members are paired with members of Bet Tzedek’s Board of Directors, providing opportunities for both personal and professional growth that are both ongoing and easily accessible.
The council has quickly grown to include more than 70 up-and-coming leaders from an array of professions, including law, finance, real estate, and sales. Members of the council commit to donating or raising $1,500 for Bet Tzedek through various fundraising activities, including the annual Justice Ball. These young leaders are an important component to Bet Tzedek’s longevity and future success.
