Held in January each year, Bet Tzedek’s annual fundraising dinner provides for a significant portion of our annual budget.
Leading law firms, major corporations, and hundreds of individuals come together at the Dinner Gala to ensure equal justice for the most vulnerable members of our community.
In addition, Bet Tzedek uses the occasion to honor two individuals and/or organizations whose commitment to equal justice for all has made a significant impact on our community. This is accomplished through the presentation of the Luis Lainer Founder’s Award and the Rose L. Shiff Commitment to Justice Award. A third award, the Jack H. Skriball Community Justice Award, is also presented to a deserving staff member(s) for their outstanding contributions to the agency’s mission and their work on behalf of our clients.
