Opportunities
There are many ways for paralegals and paralegal students to get involved. Below are just some of the opportunities available. Intern at Bet Tzedek
We welcome paralegal students who can commit at least 8-10 hours weekly for the semester. Volunteers receive direct attorney supervision and can work in most of our units. Responsibilities may include staffing clinics, conducting client interviews, preparing court documents, and more.
Staff a Legal Clinic
Paralegals and paralegal students can assist at three clinics where we provide legal assistance to clients. Click on the title to learn more about our Debtors’ Rights Clinic , our Self-Help Conservatorship Clinic and our Employment Rights Clinic .
Senior Center Outreach
We are the exclusive provider of free legal services to low-income seniors in Los Angeles County, conducting intake at over 30 senior centers countywide. Volunteers meet with clients one-on-one and provide counsel on issues ranging from housing to public benefits. Learn more about volunteering.
