Bet Tzedek’s Fight Against Wage Theft in LA’s Garment Industry Makes the News

Posted on August 1, 2016

Wage theft in LA’s garment industry is rampant. Bet Tzedek is collaborating with the Garment Worker Center, the Department of Labor and the Labor Commissioner to put an end to these practices.

Bet Tzedek is the primary legal representative for most of the garment workers willing to step forward and call out these companies for their abuses. The JK Mode case, referenced in this LA Times article, captures the work our Employment Rights Project does with help of our pro bono partners.
