Bet Tzedek issues Media Memo to inform the public about legal steps undocumented parents can take to protect their children in event of deportation

There has been a recent rise in undocumented parents working to execute power of attorney paperwork to give prospective caregivers with decision making authority related to the children, and a number of media outlets have reported on the importance of taking this step. Bet Tzedek has issued an urgent Media Memo to advise the public of additional steps needed for California families seeking to protect their children.
