COVID-19 and Workers’ Rights

Posted on March 16, 2020

Many workers have questions about how the COVID-19 outbreak will affect their jobs and income.

Below are links to resources which aim to address these questions. These materials will be updated as new information becomes available.

Additionally, due to the current health crisis, Bet Tzedek will not be hosting our monthly Workers’ Rights Clinic on April 1st in person. We anticipate being able to host this clinic, as well as future clinics, “virtually,” meaning that clinical services will be provided by phone rather than in-person. We will update our website with that information as soon as possible.

In the meantime, should you have any employment-related questions, including questions relating to how the current health crisis will affect your job and income, please call our intake line at 323-939-0506 to make an appointment to speak with one of our advocates. In light of the current situation, it may take up to two weeks to speak with an advocate. Thank you for your patience.
