COVID-19: Suspension of PACE Programs Needed to Prevent Homelessness and Further Fraud

Facing a current pandemic, housing crisis, and potential loss of income, no one should have to worry about predatory loans or losing their home. We urge the LA County Board of Supervisors to immediately act to protect the thousands of low-income LA County homeowners at risk of foreclosure during the COVID-19 crisis. We’ve banded together with Public Counsel, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, Haven Neighborhood Services, and UC Irvine School of Law to submit a letter outlining the necessary steps LA County must take.
